Senior Data Engineer

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 3-5 years We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Pune. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and integration solutions to support our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering with specific expertise in IICS - IDMC. Job Description: 1. Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). 2. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 3. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data integration processes. 4. Optimize data processing jobs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to data availability. 6. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, data models, and integration solutions. 7. Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for data engineering and development. 8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure and data governance frameworks. 9. Mentor junior data engineers and share knowledge within the team. Skills and Qualifications: * 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field. * Proven expertise in designing and implementing data integration solutions using IICS - IDMC. * Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases. * Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling. * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
