About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with 4 to 6 years of expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and report migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, migrating, and optimizing enterprise reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy, scalability, performance, and governance. This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale BI modernization and report migration programs, transforming legacy reporting platforms into modern, data-driven Power BI solutions that support strategic business decision-making.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic data models.

Participate in enterprise data migration and report migration projects.

Migrate reports and dashboards from legacy BI platforms to Power BI while ensuring functional and visual accuracy.

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and testing during migration activities.

Develop and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and complex business calculations.

Design and maintain scalable data models using dimensional modeling and star schema principles.

Build efficient data transformation processes using Power Query (M Language).

Integrate Power BI with databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, and enterprise data sources.

Publish, schedule, and manage reports and dashboards through Power BI Service.

Implement performance tuning techniques for datasets, reports, dashboards, and data models.

Troubleshoot report performance issues and provide production support.

Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Implement reporting standards, governance policies, and best practices.

Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance across reporting solutions.

Expertise You'll Bring:

4 to 6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Developer, or Analytics Professional.

Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Extensive experience in Data Modeling and dimensional modeling techniques.

Strong knowledge of DAX for creating measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and advanced calculations.

Hands-on experience with Power Query (M Language) for data transformation and preparation.

Experience working on data migration and report migration projects.

Strong SQL programming, query writing, and query optimization skills.

Experience designing and developing analytical dashboards and business reports.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including Fact Tables and Dimension Tables.

Experience building and optimizing Star Schema data models.

Knowledge of reporting performance tuning techniques and best practices.

Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern data architectures.

Experience integrating Power BI with multiple enterprise data sources.

Hands-on experience with Power BI deployment, workspace management, and report publishing.

Experience implementing Power BI security models, role-based access controls, and scheduled refresh mechanisms.

Understanding of enterprise reporting governance and data quality standards.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
