About Position:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Python) to join our Provisioning and Deployment team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python development, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), automation frameworks, Kubernetes, and Observability. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions that support mission-critical SaaS platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes, operational efficiency, system reliability, and platform scalability across distributed cloud environments.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks using Python.

Build automation solutions that support provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows across cloud environments.

Develop and implement new functionality to orchestrate complex cloud releases across multiple data centers and geographic regions.

Maintain and enhance systems used to deploy, scale, monitor, and operate enterprise platforms and databases dynamically.

Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver innovative automation solutions.

Collaborate with database administration teams to understand operational requirements and implement scalable solutions.

Develop tools and processes that improve reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.

Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve deployment consistency.

Implement SRE best practices focused on reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.

Monitor production systems and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Troubleshoot complex platform, application, and infrastructure issues.

Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability across distributed systems.

Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.

Support cloud-native infrastructure and containerized application platforms.

Mentor junior engineers on Python development, automation engineering, and reliability best practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.

Expertise You'll Bring:

9 to 12 years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience working with distributed systems and operations engineering environments.

Strong hands-on expertise in Python development and automation framework design.

Proven experience building scalable automation solutions and deployment systems.

Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles and operational best practices.

Experience supporting large-scale SaaS platforms and cloud-native applications.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.

Experience implementing observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

Strong understanding of infrastructure automation and deployment orchestration.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production environments.

Working knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration and support.

Exposure to Golang development is desirable.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle, engineering processes, and coding best practices.

Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.

Experience working collaboratively with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills with demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English.

Ability to mentor, guide, and support junior engineers and technical teams.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
