Skill Requirements

5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in ETL testing data testing data warehousing or dataplatform validation

Experience designing or extending a reusable ETLdatatesting automation framework

Experience integrating automated data tests into Azure DevOps or another CICD platform

Familiarity with Lakeflow pipeline expectations event logs job monitoring and pipeline observability

Experience testing medallionstyle data architectures across raw cleansed and curated data layers

Knowledge of data governance metadata lineage and rolebased access principles

Microsoft Azure or Databricks knowledge is mandatory certification is advantageous

Demonstrated experience testing at least one productionscale data integration data warehouse lakehouse migration or analytics platform

Experience independently preparing test scenarios test cases reconciliation queries test evidence defect reports and execution summaries

Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and isolate discrepancies across multiple pipeline stages

Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments

Roles Responsibilities

Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for ETL applications

Develop and execute automation scripts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data movement across varied systems

Identify analyse and document defects found during the testing process

Work with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve data related issues

Develop data quality metrics and test plans to measure the accuracy and completeness of data movement

Monitor analyse and report test results

Maintain knowledge and understanding of the latest ETL testing tools and techniques

Plan and manage test cycles and execute test plans

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other testers
