Senior Specialist - Package Implementation

The Test Lead will be responsible for planning coordinating and managing endtoend testing activities for an SAP carveout project

The role requires strong SAP functional understanding test management experience stakeholder coordination and the ability to drive quality assurance across multiple workstreams during system separation data migration configuration validation and business process testing

Define and own the overall test strategy test plan test schedule and test execution approach for the SAP carveout project

Coordinate testing across SAP functional modules integrations data migration security reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms

Work closely with functional consultants technical teams business users project managers and client stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage

Lead preparation and review of test scenarios test cases test data entry and exit criteria and traceability matrices

Manage System Integration Testing User Acceptance Testing Regression Testing mock cutover testing and postmigration validation activities

Track defects coordinate triage calls monitor resolution progress and ensure timely closure of highpriority issues

Provide daily and weekly test execution status defect metrics risks dependencies and quality updates to project leadership

Ensure testing aligns with carveout scope business process changes data separation requirements and project timelines

Support cutover readiness checks golive decision inputs hyper care planning and postgolive validation

Required Skills and Experience

8-12 years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to SAP testing and test management

Minimum 3 years of experience leading testing activities in SAP implementation rollout migration divestiture merger or carveout projects

Good understanding of SAP business processes across one or more modules such as FI CO SD MM PP WM QM PM

Experience with test management tools such as SAP Solution Manager HP ALM Jira Azure DevOps or similar platforms

Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle management test reporting test governance and quality assurance practices

Ability to work with crossfunctional teams across business functional technical integration and data migration areas

Excellent communication stakeholder management analytical and problemsolving skills

Experience in managing offshore and onsite testing teams is preferred

Demerger Project Expectations

Validate business process continuity after system separation and organizational restructuring

Support testing related to data extraction transformation migration and reconciliation

Ensure interface testing covers retained systems target systems thirdparty applications and downstream dependencies

Coordinate with business and IT teams to confirm that carveout scope legal entity changes master data transactional data and access requirements are tested thoroughly

Identify testing risks related to business disruption data gaps integration failures and cutover readiness

Education and Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Business or a related discipline

Relevant SAP certification or test management certification is an added advantage

Prior experience in SAP S4HANA transformation migration merger acquisition divestiture or carveout programs is preferred

Experience working in global delivery models with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders is desirable
