Associate Principal - Package Implementation

Role: SAP Functional Lead

Primary objective

Act as the functional lead for business engagement requirements clarification solution validation design governance functional and user acceptance test support data migration preparation cut over activities and hypercare support

Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders to refine and validate detailed business requirements and solution playbacks

Own functional design deliverables and ensure alignment between approved BRD solution design and build activities

Act as the primary liaison between business users solution architects developers and testing teams

Collaborate with reporting integration and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of functional requirements

Support backlog prioritisation sprint planning business decision management and requirement traceability

Manage functional defect triage during FUT SIT and UAT and ensure timely resolution of business issues

Provide business change support user training input and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle

Support data migration activities including data mapping cleansing requirements reconciliation and business validation

Support cutover planning deployment readiness activities and postgolive hypercare from a functional perspective

Strong SAP EAMUtilities process knowledge

Experience with SAP S4HANA SAP BTP SAP Fiori SAP Dynamic Forms Integrations and business process transformation projects

Experience working on custom business applications and nonstandard SAP solutions built on SAP BTP SAP Fiori or similar platforms

Ability to understand analyse and document bespoke business processes and translate them into functional requirements and solution designs

Proven experience working closely with business stakeholders to define and implement custom process enhancements that extend standard SAP capabilities

Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business users architects and development teams

Strong workshop facilitation stakeholder management and business process design skills

Ability to assess business impacts of design decisions and provide functional guidance during build testing and deployment phases
