Role:Informatica IDMC Migration Senior Developer

Location:PAN India

Role Summary:

The Informatica IDMC Migration Engineer is responsible for migrating existing Informatica PowerCenterIICS workloads to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud IDMC The role involves assessment design development migration testing performance tuning and production support of cloudbased data integration solutions Experience with IDMC Cloud Data Integration CDI Secure Agent taskflows

Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenterIICS mappings workflows and ETL processes for migration to IDMC

Perform endtoend migration from PowerCenter to IDMCCDI using migration utilities and manual remediation where required

Design develop and implement cloudnative IDMC mappings mapping tasks taskflows and reusable components

Install and configure Secure Agents connections runtime environments and security settings

Perform data validation reconciliation and migration testing Unit SIT UAT Regression

Optimize migrated jobs for performance scalability and reliability

Troubleshoot migration issues workflow failures and data inconsistencies

Develop and maintain ETLELT processes integrating Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL Snowflake APIs XML JSON and cloud sources

Collaborate with business analysts architects DBAs and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide migration solutions

Support deployment activities across DEV TEST UAT and PROD environments

Create technical documentation migration runbooks

Required Skills

5-8 years of Informatica PowerCenter development experience

5 years of Informatica IDMCIICS Cloud Data Integration CDI experience

Strong knowledge of

ETLELT Concepts

Strong SQL PLSQL and database development skills

Experience with Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL Snowflake or other RDBMS platforms

Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling

Experience in performance tuning and production support

Experience with PowerCenter to IDMC migration projects

Knowledge of Informatica Cloud Application Integration CAI and APIs

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP

CICD Git and DevOps exposure

Informatica IDMC Certifications

Snowflake Databricks or Data Quality CDQ experience
