The ESM Consultant focuses on all of the Service Integration and Service Management lifecycle stages and associated processes. They are a recognized subject matter expert in one or more of the lifecycle stages or processes. They are an expert in related areas such as governance, industry standards or regulatory compliance.

They also assist sales in solutions and pre qualification efforts and oversees multipledelivery areas.​
