YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Transport / Logistics Management Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of logistics and transportation transformation solutions for global clients. The role involves defining future-state operating models, designing end-to-end transportation solutions, evaluating technology platforms, and driving digital transformation initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and logistics operations.
The Solution Architect will act as the bridge between business and technology teams to create scalable, cost-effective, and innovative logistics solutions that improve transportation performance, customer service, and operational efficiency.
In this role you will play a key role in:
•Design end-to-end Transportation and Logistics solutions aligned with client business objectives and transformation goals.
•Lead logistics transformation initiatives, operating model design, and supply chain optimization programs.
•Conduct transportation network analysis, freight spend assessments, and logistics cost optimization studies.
•Develop solution architectures covering processes, people, technology, governance, KPIs, and service delivery models.
•Define and document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes, operating procedures, and process flows.
•Evaluate, recommend, and support implementation of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Track & Trace platforms, Visibility Solutions, and Logistics Control Towers.
•Lead solution workshops, requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap assessments, business case creation, and stakeholder alignment activities.
•Design transportation planning, carrier management, freight execution, shipment visibility, and logistics performance management solutions.
•Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, AI/ML, and digital innovation across logistics and transportation operations.
•Support proposal development, solution estimation, commercial discussions, and Statement of Work (SOW) creation.
•Provide strategic recommendations to improve transportation efficiency, customer service levels, and operational performance.
YOUR PROFILE
•Strong expertise in Transportation Management, Logistics Operations, Freight Management, Carrier Management, and Supply Chain Transformation.
•Deep understanding of transportation planning, freight execution, distribution, warehousing, and shipment visibility processes.
•Experience in operating model transformation, logistics governance, transportation network design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes including Order Management, Fulfillment, Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Operations.
•Expertise in Transportation Management Solutions such as Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM), Blue Yonder, Manhattan TMS, and Logistics Control Tower platforms.
•Experience with digital supply chain technologies, analytics platforms, automation solutions, and AI/ML use cases.
•Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and supply chain reporting and visualization tools.
•Understanding of transportation visibility, Track & Trace solutions, logistics integration, and performance management systems.
•Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.
•Expertise in workshop facilitation, solution design discussions, requirement gathering, and executive presentations.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
•Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
•Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Lean Six Sigma certification or other relevant Supply Chain / Logistics certifications preferred.
•Industry-recognized certifications in Transportation Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management are desirable.
•Proven experience in transportation solution design, logistics transformation, operating model development, and technology-enabled supply chain programs.
