Job Title: Application Development BI Quality Engineer

Required Skills

8-12 years of experience in BI Testing Data Warehouse Testing and ETLData Validation Testing

Strong handson experience in validating BI reports dashboards scorecards and analytics solutions

Expertise in Advanced SQL SQL Server Spark SQL Oracle or equivalent for data validation reconciliation and performance testing

Experience with BI tools such as Power BI Tableau Cognos Business Objects or SSRS

Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including Fact Dimension models Star Schema Snowflake Schema and OLAP systems

Proven experience in validating KPIs metrics calculations aggregations drilldown functionality filters and dashboard visualizations

Experience in endtoend ETLELT testing sourcetotarget validation and data quality assurance

Ability to perform data reconciliation between source systems data warehouses semantic layers and BI reports

Handson experience with automation frameworks using Python and data validation tools

Good understanding of Databricks Delta Lake cloud platforms ADLS ADF and modern data ecosystems

Strong knowledge of STLC defect lifecycle management Agile methodologies and test management tools

Experience : 8-12 Years

GoodtoHave Skills:

Experience in Databricks PySpark and Cloud Data Platform testing

Knowledge of data governance metadata management and data lineage validation

Exposure to performance testing of reports dashboards and large datasets

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Educational Qualification

The candidate should possess strong SQL skills a deep understanding of BI and data warehousing concepts and experience validating data flows from source systems through ETL pipelines to analytical reports and dashboards Experience with modern cloud data platforms Databricks ecosystems and BI reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders data engineers BI developers and product teams to ensure highquality datadriven insights and reporting solutions in an Agile environment

Validate BI reports dashboards KPIs and analytical solutions

Perform sourcetotarget data validation and reconciliation

Test ETLELT pipelines and data transformations

Verify report calculations aggregations filters and drillthrough functionalities

Ensure data quality integrity and consistency across reporting layers

Execute functional regression integration and UAT testing

Identify track and manage defects throughout the SDLC

Collaborate with business users to validate reporting requirements and expected outcomes

Support automation initiatives for data and BI testing
