Project Manager I

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced PM/scrum master with data skills to support regional data and technology delivery initiatives. This role focuses on running agile scrum execution, gathering and refining regional requirements, and translating business needs into technically actionable stories for engineering teams, while aligning with central product and data governance standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate agile scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Manage sprint backlogs and execution plans in collaboration with engineering teams. Work with engineers to support effort estimation, capacity planning, and delivery timelines. Track execution progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments, and provide regular delivery status updates. Engage directly with regional stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine requirements. Translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment. Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical feasibility and solution approach. Ensure alignment with central product, architecture, and data governance standards. Apply strong working knowledge of Databricks, Power BI, database technologies (DBA concepts), and GenAI-related projects to translate requirements into execution-ready stories. Support for APMEA and LATAM region. Experience: 8+ years of experience in technical analysis, agile delivery, or data engineering-adjacent roles. Hands-on experience running scrum and supporting agile delivery teams. Experience working with data platforms such as Databricks, Power BI, and enterprise database systems. Exposure to GenAI or AI-enabled data initiatives is strongly preferred. Experience working with agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Experience supporting cross-functional and regional teams. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of agile and scrum delivery practices. Ability to translate business requirements into technically actionable user stories. Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills. Solid understanding of data engineering and analytics concepts. Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and execution skills.
