We are hiring a Content Specialist to shape how Medhavi communicates across digital platforms and brand touchpoints. You will create both long-form and short-form content, develop narratives and ideas, and work closely with designers and video editors to take content from the first brief to the final output.

This is not a role limited to writing copy. You will research, conceptualise, write, edit, brief creative teams and take ownership of the content you put out.

Why now

As Medhavi grows, the volume and variety of content we create is growing with it.

The same idea may need to become:

An in-depth article or website page.

A social media post or carousel.

A video or reel script.

A campaign narrative.

A brochure or other brand communication.

Each format needs a different approach, but the thinking, quality and brand voice need to remain consistent.

We need someone who understands both content and creative execution: a strong writer who can develop an idea, find the right narrative, adapt it across formats and work with designers and video editors until the final output is ready.

What you will do

You own content from research and ideation through writing, creative coordination and final delivery.

Write long-form content including SEO-optimised blogs, articles, website content, landing pages and programme pages.

Create short-form content including social media copy, captions, carousel copy, hooks, reel concepts, video scripts and content series.

Develop organic social media ideas, campaign concepts and content calendars aligned with brand objectives.

Build brand narratives, campaign messaging and key communication messages for different audiences and platforms.

Turn ideas into clear creative briefs for static creatives, carousels, infographics, videos, reels and other digital formats.

Work closely with graphic designers and video editors to translate content ideas into finished creative outputs.

Give clear, actionable feedback on copy, layouts, visual storytelling and video executions during the creative process.

Research industries, audiences, competitors, trends and relevant subjects before developing content.

Simplify complex business, education and industry information into clear and audience-friendly communication.

Adapt the same subject or message for different formats without making the content repetitive or generic.

Edit and proofread content to maintain accuracy, clarity, consistency and editorial quality.

Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone and messaging across platforms.

Use AI-powered tools for research, ideation, drafting, editing and optimisation while applying independent editorial judgement to the final output.

Manage multiple content projects and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

What you will deliver: blogs and articles, website and landing-page copy, social media content, content calendars, campaign narratives, creative briefs, carousel copy, video and reel scripts, brochures and other brand communication.

Who we are looking for

Must have

5+ years of relevant experience in content writing, content marketing, brand content, editorial content or a related role.

A strong body of work across both long-form and short-form content.

Excellent command of written English, with strong editing, proofreading and storytelling skills.

The ability to change writing style, structure and depth based on the audience, platform and communication objective.

Strong understanding of SEO content writing, keyword usage and content optimisation.

Experience writing blogs, articles, websites, social media content, scripts and other digital or brand communication.

Hands-on experience working with graphic designers and video editors to take creative projects from concept to final execution.

The ability to write clear creative briefs and communicate the idea, message, hierarchy and expected output to creative teams.

The judgement to review creative work and provide useful, specific feedback instead of simply approving or rejecting it.

Strong research and fact-checking skills.

Comfort working on multiple briefs and projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and QuillBot, and an understanding of how to use them without compromising originality or quality.

A portfolio that demonstrates the quality and range of your work.

Good to have

Experience in education, skilling, higher education, EdTech or related sectors.

Experience working in an in-house brand or marketing team.

Experience developing recurring content properties, campaigns or content series.

Experience building content guidelines, templates or editorial processes.

Fluency in written Hindi or Bengali i n addition to English.
