Job Title: SAP MM Consultant (Pharmaceutical Industry)
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP MM module within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP MM functionality, integration with other SAP modules, and the specific business processes relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, such as inventory management of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods, as well as procurement, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
Implement and configure SAP MM modules (e.g., material master, purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification) to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP).
Analyze business requirements from various stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, manufacturing, quality assurance) and translate them into functional specifications for SAP MM solutions.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, QM) and with external systems, including those related to manufacturing execution, laboratory information management (LIMS), and track and trace.
Manage master data within SAP MM, including material master data, vendor master data, purchasing info records, and pricing conditions.
Develop and execute test plans, conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP MM solutions.
Provide end-user training on SAP MM processes and procedures and offer ongoing support to resolve issues and address user inquiries.
Identify opportunities to optimize business processes within SAP MM, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency.
Participate in SAP implementation projects, system upgrades, and other related initiatives.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to SAP MM configuration, processes, and user procedures.
Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to the pharmaceutical industry.
