Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Assistant Manager – Costing to join our Finance team at Shabad, Telangana . The ideal candidate must be a CMA-qualified professional with 7-8 years of experience and a strong understanding of costing, financial analysis, budgeting and plant finance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain product costing and standard cost sheets , including raw materials, packing materials, labour and overheads.

Perform actual vs. standard cost variance analysis and identify key cost drivers.

Analyse material consumption, production yield, wastage and conversion costs .

Prepare monthly plant MIS, financial reports and profitability analysis .

Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the plant.

Monitor and analyse inventory valuation, stock movements and inventory-related costs .

Identify and support cost reduction and cost optimisation initiatives .

Work closely with Production, Procurement, Stores and other departments to improve cost efficiency.

Support new product costing and profitability analysis .

Ensure accuracy and integrity of costing data in Tally ERP .

Support month-end closing, audits and other financial reporting requirements .

Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies, accounting standards and company procedures .

Provide meaningful financial and costing insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

CMA / ICWA qualification is mandatory.

0–2 years of experience in Costing / Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of product costing, standard costing, variance analysis and inventory accounting .

Good working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel .

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial and operational data.
