Core responsibilities
•Translate complex business and process requirements into clear functional expectations, user stories, acceptance criteria and validation guardrails.
•Protect the Themis Finance core model by assessing proposed changes against global design principles, harmonisation objectives and long-term product sustainability.
•Lead functional impact assessments across processes, company codes, master data, interfaces and connected SAP modules.
•Review defects, incidents and enhancement proposals, identify root causes and recommend sustainable solutions rather than local workarounds.
•Support deployment and integration projects through design review, testing strategy, cutover readiness, knowledge transfer and post-go-live stabilisation.
•Maintain decision records and functional documentation so critical Themis and Master Data knowledge remains inside the organisation.
Stakeholder & collaboration responsibilities
•Act as the missing bridge between Finance business stakeholders and technical or configuration teams, ensuring that business intent and SAP implications are understood on both sides.
•Facilitate solution discussions, challenge external partners constructively and communicate decisions, impacts, risks and trade-offs clearly.
•Collaborate with Finance Design Authority, DBS Record to Report and Master Data teams, other Finance Product Teams, Chapter experts, project teams and AMS providers.
•Coach Product Analysts and contribute to stronger internal SAP Finance capability and consistent validation practices.
Technical requirements
•Deep knowledge of Themis or another global SAP Finance core model.
•Strong Finance Master Data experience, including General Ledger accounts, cost centres, profit centres, organisational structures, governance and distribution.
•SAP S/4HANA or Central Finance exposure.
•Experience with cross-module integration, especially SD, MM, Asset Accounting, Controlling or intercompany flows.
•Experience in global core-model governance, design authority or multi-country deployment environments.
•Business analysis, SAP, product management or Agile certification.
Additional responsibilities
•Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP Finance experience gained through implementation, integration or deployment projects, not only theoretical knowledge or support coordination.
•Strong SAP FI/CO functional and configuration background, with the ability to understand how a solution is configured, assess proposed changes and identify functional or integration risks.
•Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, including Record to Report, financial closing, postings, controls and master-data dependencies.
•Proven ability to review, challenge and validate functional designs, configuration choices, test evidence and deployment deliverables produced by internal or external delivery teams.
•Experience translating complex business requirements into functional solutions and explaining solution constraints, impacts and trade-offs to Finance stakeholders.
•Experience identifying end-to-end dependencies across SAP Finance and integrated modules or applications.
•Ability to work autonomously, make recommendations, escalate material risks and act as a credible bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, project teams, AMS and external partners.
•Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, structured problem solving and clear written and verbal communication.
