Solution Design & Architecture

Lead solution design and architecture development for complex, multi-platform enterprise transformation initiatives

Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand organizational goals, pain points, and strategic vision

Design end-to-end solution blueprints that integrate multiple systems while optimizing business processes

Define technology strategy, system integration patterns, data architecture, and security frameworks

Create detailed solution design documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications

Develop and present compelling proposals and proof-of-concepts to executive stakeholders and C-suite clients

Establish best practices, design patterns, and technology standards for platform implementations

Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance on configuration vs. customization trade-offs

Oversee system integration, data migration strategies, and technical risk mitigation

Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovation opportunities for client advantage

Functional Design & Configuration

Design, configure, and customize enterprise systems (SAP, ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce, MS Dynamics) to meet business requirements

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various functional areas

Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications and design documents aligned with solution architecture

Design module-specific solutions across FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM, ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CRM modules as applicable

Lead system implementation design phases, managing requirements, scope, and quality deliverables

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration across systems and data consistency

Design and oversee data mapping, master data management, and process design approaches

Identify optimization opportunities and recommend system enhancements post-implementation

Establish configuration standards and best practices for assigned modules/platforms

Conduct user training and create comprehensive process documentation

Project Planning & Delivery Management

Plan and execute enterprise systems implementation projects with defined scope, schedule, and budget

Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with client objectives and delivery methodology

Lead daily/weekly project standups, status meetings, and escalation management to maintain project momentum

Coordinate multiple functional and technical workstreams; manage dependencies and integration points

Monitor project performance using earned value analysis, dashboards, and key metrics; identify variances early

Manage project scope through change control procedures; assess impact of changes on schedule and budget

Track project financials including utilization rates, labor costs, and budget variances; ensure profitability

Lead cross-functional teams including architects, developers, functional consultants, QA, and business analysts

Coordinate technical integration activities and resolve technical design conflicts

Oversee testing governance including test planning, test execution, and defect management

Conduct project reviews, manage action items, and implement corrective actions as needed

Oversee knowledge transfer and lessons learned documentation at project completion
