Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical solution designs Develop solution architecture documentation, including design specifications, system diagrams, and implementation plans Lead the architectural design process, conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations, security) to ensure solution viability Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, tools, and platforms based on business and technical requirements Create and present technical solutions to stakeholders and C-level executives Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development and implementation teams Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and governance standards Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes to validate architectural decisions Monitor solution performance post-deployment and recommend optimizations Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies Required Skills & Experience 7+ years in software development, systems architecture, or technical consulting 5+ years in a Solution Architect or similar senior technical role Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Proficiency in system design, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and data architecture Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR) Proficiency with architecture tools (TOGAF, ArchiMate, or similar) Technical Competencies Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure API Design & Integration Database Architecture (SQL & NoSQL) Scalability & Performance Optimization Security Architecture Data Architecture & Analytics Containerization & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels Project management and organizational skills Leadership and mentoring capabilities Customer-focused mindset Adaptability and continuous learning
