Back End Lead - Engineer III Experience 8+ years Positions 1 Location / work model: Hyderabad; four days per week from the office. Travel may be required for onboarding, PI Planning, workshops and major milestones. Role purpose Lead the design, development, testing and support of Cortex backend services, APIs, gateway functions and data integrations while remaining hands-on and mentoring backend engineers. Key responsibilities Lead backend design and implementation using C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core. Define secure REST APIs, service interfaces and reliable data contracts. Maintain Cortex Semi Gateway and integrate heterogeneous acquisition/orchestration systems. Guide PostgreSQL data modelling, query design, performance and troubleshooting. Establish coding, review, automated testing, logging and health-check practices. Diagnose production and integration issues using telemetry, debugging and data inspection. Support Docker/Kubernetes deployment, CI/CD and backend knowledge transition. Mandatory qualifications and skills 8+ years in backend engineering with technical-lead experience. Advanced C#/.NET/ASP.NET Core and REST API development. Microservices/distributed systems; SQL/PostgreSQL. Authentication, authorization, unit/API/integration testing. Git, code reviews, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes. Strong root-cause analysis, mentoring, documentation and collaboration. Preferred qualifications and skills Athena, SDP, DAP or gateway integration. Elasticsearch; RabbitMQ/Kafka; OpenTelemetry/Prometheus/Grafana. Python/Shell, operators/CRDs, supply-chain security. Scientific, imaging or data-intensive systems; SAFe.
