Well versed in forging operations with hands-on experience in the forging industry.

Responsible for independently managing and executing all shift activities in the forging shop.

Ensure achievement of daily production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and delivery requirements.

Monitor and control forging process parameters to ensure consistent product quality and process compliance.

Supervise shop-floor manpower and ensure optimum utilization of available resources.

Allocate work assignments to operators and monitor performance during the shift.

Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.

Possess thorough knowledge of forging processes, materials, tooling, and shop-floor practices.

Maintain effective coordination with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and other support functions.

Possess detailed knowledge of forging equipment, furnaces, presses, hammers, manipulators, and material handling systems.

Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper operation as per standard parameters.

Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.

Support maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of operations.

Identify equipment abnormalities and take proactive actions to minimize production losses.

Possess sound knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) concepts and practices.

Drive TPM initiatives to enhance equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Promote autonomous maintenance practices among operators and shop-floor personnel.

Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through structured initiatives.
