Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents.
Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Perform Functional, System, Regression, Integration, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Validate Mainframe batch jobs, online transactions, and business workflows.
Perform file validation and data reconciliation between source and target systems.
Execute database and backend testing using Mainframe data sources.
Validate interfaces between Mainframe and distributed applications.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects through closure.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA activities.
Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and status updates.
Required Skills
Mainframe Technologies
Strong experience in Mainframe Testing.
Hands-on experience with:
IBM z/OS
TSO/ISPF
JCL (Job Control Language)
VSAM
CICS
COBOL Applications
DB2
IMS (preferred)
Ability to understand and validate Mainframe batch and online processes.

Educational requirements
MCA,MSc,MTech,Bachelor of Engineering,BCA,BSc,BTech
Preferred skills

Experience: 5-8 years
