We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and Python to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, driving end-to-end test strategy, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

In addition to traditional QA responsibilities, the candidate should have an interest in or exposure to modern AI-enabled testing approaches , including Generative AI and Intelligent Test Automation. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently, provide technical guidance, and contribute effectively across both automation and manual testing activities when required.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and Python .

Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Participate in test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and overall QA lifecycle activities.

Analyse test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Drive testing best practices and provide technical leadership and mentorship when needed.

Support manual testing activities during project phases where automation is not feasible or practical.

Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and quality metrics.

Contribute to the adoption of emerging AI-driven testing methodologies and tools.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright and Python .

Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks.

Solid understanding of:

Test Planning

Test Execution

Defect Management

Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Quality Assurance best practices

Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing deliverables.

Experience providing technical guidance and leadership within QA teams.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
