Infrastructure Lead Experience -10+ Years Location - Any UST Location Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure architecture, cloud technologies, automation, and team leadership. This role will be responsible for driving infrastructure strategy, ensuring high availability, and leading a team of infrastructure engineers. Key Responsibilities • Lead the infrastructure team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure solutions • Develop and execute infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals and IT best practices • Oversee the architecture, deployment, and optimization of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure components • Drive automation and orchestration initiatives to improve infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational efficiency • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of critical infrastructure services • Manage infrastructure projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and delivery • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application development, security, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and support • Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance • Mentor and guide infrastructure team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in infrastructure management Required Skills • Strong experience in designing and managing complex IT infrastructure environments • Deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networks, and virtualization • Expertise in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and cloud migration strategies • Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform • Solid understanding of infrastructure security principles, including network security, access control, and data protection • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and ing tools, such as Nagios, Zabbix, ELK stack, or Splunk • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse stakeholders Preferred Skills • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies • Understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management best practices • Exposure to data center operations and physical infrastructure management Desired Certifications • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) • ITIL 4 Foundation or ITIL v3 Expert • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Experience • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing infrastructure teams and projects • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure initiatives • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and managing multiple priorities
