Front-End Developer (.NET 10+, Blazor)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to design and develop modern, responsive and intuitive user interfaces for our next-generation applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in web UI development, user experience implementation and modern front-end engineering practices. Working closely with designers, architects, back-end developers and business stakeholders, you will help translate designs and user requirements into high-quality, accessible and maintainable web applications.

Our front-end platform is built using modern .NET technologies, including Blazor, and we are looking for developers who are passionate about creating excellent user experiences and clean, maintainable code. Whilst experience with Blazor is highly desirable, we are equally interested in developers with strong front-end engineering skills who are keen to develop expertise in modern .NET UI technologies.

The team embraces AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices, providing opportunities to work with contemporary tools and technologies while influencing the future direction of our applications.

Essential Skills

User Interface Development

Strong commercial experience developing modern web-based user interfaces

Excellent understanding of front-end development principles and best practices

Experience building responsive, accessible and user-friendly applications

Strong understanding of component-based UI development

Ability to translate design concepts into high-quality production-ready interfaces

Experience building reusable UI components and patterns

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished user experiences

HTML, CSS & Styling

Advanced HTML5 skills

Experience using SASS/SCSS

Experience creating responsive layouts across desktop, tablet and mobile devices

User Interface Development

Design, develop and maintain modern web application user interfaces

Build reusable, maintainable and accessible UI components

Implement designs and user journeys from Figma and other design artefacts

Ensure high standards of usability, accessibility and visual quality

Technical Delivery

Develop front-end application features using modern .NET technologies

Integrate with REST/JSON APIs and back-end services

Contribute to application architecture and technical design discussions

Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues

Produce robust, maintainable and scalable solutions

Participate in code reviews and technical peer reviews

Identify opportunities for refactoring and technical debt reduction
