Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join our team at Cyient Insights India Pvt Ltd. This role involves leading the design and drafting of complex electrical systems for various projects around the globe ,by ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
Job Responsibilities**
Lead a team for Earthing & lighting protection
Execute other building and plant electrification designs
Develop detailed electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts using ,REVIT,Magicad AutoCAD 3D, AVEVA E3D, Auto grid
Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and proposals to create accurate and compliant electrical designs.
Perform interdisciplinary coordination with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, civil, structural) to ensure design integration and resolve clashes.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior designers and drafters.
Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Contribute to the development of design standards, procedures, and best practices.
Troubleshoot design issues and propose effective solutions.
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
Job Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Designer in Earthing & lighting protection, with significant experience in a senior role.
Expert proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Magicad,Revit for electrical design.
Working knowledge and hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D Or Autocad 3D for 3D modeling and design is added Advantage
Proficiency in MV, LV systems is added Advantage
Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards (e.g., IEC,IEEE; NEC).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet project deadlines.
