Angular – Front End Developer

Location: [Chennai]

Experience: 5+ Years

Summary:

UST is looking for an Angular – Front End Developer with strong experience in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Docker . The role involves designing and developing responsive user interfaces, building backend services, containerizing applications, and collaborating with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The candidate should also have exposure to Generative AI frameworks/APIs and modern cloud-native technologies.

The Opportunity:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and implement responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Build and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Python with frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django .

Containerize applications and services using Docker .

Write and maintain Dockerfiles and manage container images.

Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues in production systems.

Work in Agile/Scrum environments and follow best development practices.

Use Git for source code management and collaborative development.

Ensure applications meet requirements for HTTP, web security, and cross-browser compatibility .

Work with Generative AI frameworks and APIs where applicable.

What you need:

5+ years of professional experience with Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript .

5+ years of experience building backend services using Python .

Hands-on experience with Docker , including writing Dockerfiles and running containers in development/CI workflows.

Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks or APIs , such as OpenAI GPT and Hugging Face Transformers .

Strong understanding of HTTP, web security, and cross-browser compatibility .

Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good experience with Git version control .

Background in TypeScript, Next.js, or Server-Side Rendering (SSR) .

Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK .

Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled applications .

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline , or equivalent professional experience.
