Developer I - Software Engineering

Job Title: Junior .NET Developer Grade: A1 Experience: 0–2 years Employment Type: Full-time Technology: Microsoft .NET / C# Role Summary We are looking for a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications using the .NET technology stack. The role is suitable for an entry-level developer who has a strong foundation in programming and is eager to learn and grow in a professional software development environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core, and related technologies. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established development standards. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, testing, and deployment. Develop and consume REST APIs and work with backend services. Work with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and write basic SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations. Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues. Fix defects identified during development and testing. Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers. Collaborate with senior developers, testers, business analysts, and other project stakeholders. Maintain technical documentation related to developed features and solutions. Follow Agile/Scrum practices and participate in team ceremonies as required. Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices. Required Technical Skills Good knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming concepts. Basic to good understanding of .NET / .NET Core. Familiarity with ASP.NET Core / Web API. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web application concepts. Working knowledge of SQL Server and SQL queries. Understanding of REST APIs and JSON. Familiarity with Git or other source-control systems. Basic understanding of software development and debugging tools. Good to Have Knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core. Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms. Familiarity with Angular, React, or other frontend frameworks. Understanding of unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest. Exposure to CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices. Internship, academic, or personal project experience using .NET technologies.
