Role Summary
We are looking for an accomplished consulting leader to drive the Technology Strategy & Transformation practice focused on Insurance clients. The role combines executive advisory, business development, practice leadership, commercial ownership, and governance of large-scale technology transformation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth, shaping market offerings, and leading complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CEOs, Boards, and executive leadership teams on enterprise technology strategy and business transformation.
Lead strategic consulting engagements primarily across insurance clients covering enterprise-wide technology modernization (eg: PAS, claims, agency lifecyle management, etc) and digital transformation.
Define long-term technology vision, strategic roadmaps, investment priorities, and enterprise transformation strategies aligned with business objectives.
Advise clients on cloud strategy, enterprise architecture, platform selection across key platforms such as PAS, etc, infrastructure modernization, digital platforms, AI adoption, data strategy, technology governance, and operating model transformation.
Lead executive workshops and board-level discussions to define future-state technology landscapes and transformation priorities.
Drive complex enterprise transformation programs by providing strategic direction, governance oversight, executive reporting, and risk management.
Sponsor and oversee engagements involving core systems transformation, hybrid and multi-cloud strategy and transformation, application modernization, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, technology operating model, etc
Lead technology due diligence, strategic assessments, operating model reviews, sourcing strategy, vendor evaluation, and technology investment planning.
Own strategic client accounts and develop long-term relationships with executive stakeholders to drive sustained business growth.
Lead business development activities including opportunity identification, account planning, pursuit strategy, proposal development, executive presentations, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
Define and develop new consulting offerings, industry-specific solutions, reusable assets, methodologies, and go-to-market strategies.
Build strategic alliances with hyperscalers, technology vendors, and ecosystem partners to enhance market offerings and delivery capabilities.
Own revenue targets, sales pipeline, profitability, forecasting, and overall commercial performance of the practice.
Provide executive oversight for engagement delivery, ensuring quality, financial performance, client satisfaction, and successful business outcomes.
Drive practice growth through recruitment, capability development, leadership mentoring, succession planning, and organizational development.
Mentor team and practice members to build a high-performing consulting organization.
Represent the organization in industry forums, executive roundtables, conferences, analyst interactions, and client events.
Publish thought leadership, contribute to industry research, and strengthen the firm's market positioning in Technology Strategy & Transformation.
Collaborate with global consulting teams, technology alliances, and cross-functional practices to deliver integrated transformation solutions.
Essential Experience
InsureMO understanding and implementation experience across 2-3+ clients across geographies
Strong Insurance domain understanding across both life and general insurance
Strong understanding of the Indian software vendor landscape in the insurance space

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (MBA preferred)
16+ years of consulting and industry experience with deep expertise in BFSI technology transformation
Demonstrated success in managing executive client relationships, leading multimillion-dollar consulting engagements, and building high-performing consulting practices
Strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, and executive communication skills
