Associate Data Architect I

UST is seeking an experienced Offshore Full Stack Developer to support an Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) initiative for a healthcare insurance client. The role will primarily focus on hands-on ETL and data integration development, while also supporting backend services and API development. The developer will work extensively with Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure and will also develop and maintain Azure Function Apps, C#, .NET/.NET Core, and RESTful APIs based on project needs. Healthcare insurance/payer experience is mandatory. AI-native development experience and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools are a major plus. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain ETL and data integration solutions using ADF, SSIS, SQL Server, and Azure. • Build data pipelines supporting data ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and movement between enterprise source and target systems. • Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data-processing components. • Develop and support Azure Function Apps, C#/.NET services, RESTful APIs, and backend integrations. • Perform unit and integration testing, defect resolution, code reviews, and deployment activities. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ETL pipelines, SQL, APIs, and backend services. • Support performance tuning and optimization of data integration and application components. • Work closely with onshore developers, data architects, business analysts, QA, and other engineering teams. • Participate in Agile delivery, CI/CD, production support, and continuous improvement activities. • Follow established development, data integration, security, Azure, and software engineering standards. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of software development experience, preferably with strong hands-on ETL/data integration experience. • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and ETL development. • Strong experience with SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, database development, and performance tuning. • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-based data/integration services. • Hands-on development experience with Azure Function Apps, C#, .NET/.NET Core, and RESTful APIs. • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. • Strong understanding of data integration, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and API integration. • Healthcare insurance/payer experience is mandatory, with an understanding of healthcare data and payer business processes. • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with distributed teams. AI-Native Engineering – Major Plus • Hands-on experience with Cursor or similar AI-assisted coding tools. • Experience leveraging AI for coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation. • Ability to quickly adapt to AI-enabled SDLC processes and custom AI engineering tools. • Strong AI-native engineering mindset and willingness to adopt evolving AI development practices.
