About the job

Palantir Data Support JD: Shift timing ( 2 pm to 11 pm IST) , will change on CST time zone change

Proactive monitoring : Continuously monitor Palantir Foundry data connections, pipelines, builds, and schedules (including health checks, build failures, and data freshness/SLA breaches), using alerts and dashboards to detect issues before they impact downstream users.
Incident response and triage: Serve as first-line support for production incidents, including failed syncs, source system connectivity or credential problems, schema changes, and delayed or missing data. Triage by severity, communicate status to stakeholders, and follow escalation procedures for critical issues.
Root cause analysis and remediation: Diagnose and resolve issues in data connections, transforms (Python/PySpark/SQL), and datasets, including re-running builds, fixing pipeline logic, correcting data quality errors, and validating that downstream datasets, Ontology objects, and applications are restored and accurate.
Documentation and continuous improvement: Maintain runbooks, incident logs, and knowledge base articles. Perform post-incident reviews and recommend or implement improvements (better alerting, health checks, retry logic, and automation) to reduce recurring issues.
Collaboration and coverage: Work closely with onshore data engineers,FP Infrastructure, and source system teams to coordinate fixes and changes. Provide reliable coverage across agreed support hours (including overlap with US business hours) and follow change management and access control standards.

Required skills: Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience (Data Connection, Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Data Lineage), strong SQL/Python/PySpark, and familiarity with ServiceNow.
