Job Title Senior Data Analyst Department Healthcare Analytics & Compliance Location Offshore — Any UST India Location Employment Type Full-Time Total Experience 8–10 Years Healthcare Domain 3–5 Years (Mandatory) About the Role UST is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our offshore healthcare analytics team, supporting SCAN Health Plan — one of the leading Medicare Advantage health plans in the United States. This role will serve as the primary offshore data and compliance analytics support, working closely with the onshore Compliance lead and SCAN's analytics and compliance teams. The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare domain knowledge — ideally from a Medicare Advantage, Part C/D, or managed care environment — combined with strong SQL, ETL, and reporting skills. You will be trained directly by the onshore lead on SCAN-specific compliance reporting frameworks, CMS data validation workflows, and analytics platform standards, and will be expected to own offshore delivery independently within 3–4 months. Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & ETL • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to support healthcare data integration across claims, eligibility, membership, and care management domains. • Build and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, and T-SQL scripts for data transformation, aggregation, and reporting. • Support data ingestion and pipeline monitoring on Azure Databricks, working with Delta Lake Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architecture. • Assist in large-scale data migrations using BCP, bulk insert, and SSIS packages with zero data loss and minimal downtime. Healthcare Compliance & CMS Analytics • Support CMS data validation audit workflows, compliance reporting pipelines, and regulatory submission processes under onshore lead guidance. • Develop and maintain compliance analytics reports for Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Part D lines of business, ensuring accuracy against CMS submission standards. • Assist in HIPAA-compliant data handling — implementing data masking, access controls, audit logging, and de-identification standards across analytical environments. • Monitor and validate data quality across compliance reporting, identifying anomalies and resolving data issues proactively. Reporting & Analytics • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, and Tableau. • Translate business requirements from compliance, quality management, and clinical analytics teams into technical data solutions. • Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests, delivering clear, accurate, and timely outputs to onshore stakeholders. • Document analytical findings, data lineage, and reporting logic to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base. Experience • 8–10 years of overall experience in data engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence. • 3–5 years of hands-on healthcare domain experience — Medicare Advantage (Part C/D), managed care, or health insurance payer environment strongly preferred. • Demonstrated experience in HIPAA-compliant data environments with understanding of PHI handling, data security, and regulatory compliance. • Prior experience supporting US-based onshore teams from offshore delivery model preferred.
