Job Description: Brake & Suspension Designer (Minimum 7 Years Experience)

Position Overview

We are looking to hire an experienced Brake & Suspension Designer with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing drum brakes, hydraulic disc brakes, and suspension components , preferably within the 2-wheeler automotive industry . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in casting, sheet metal, and plastic part design , including detailed 3D modelling and 2D drafting , and be capable of independently handling design release processes . Experience with Siemens NX and PLM systems is preferred.

The candidate should be a team player , highly collaborative , and self-motivated , with a strong commitment to deliver high-quality engineering output.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 7 years of experience in brake and suspension design, preferably in the 2-wheeler industry.

Proficiency in designing drum brakes, hydraulic disc brakes , and suspension components .

Strong expertise in casting, sheet metal, and plastic part design .

Hands-on experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting .

Experience with Siemens NX CAD software (preferred).

Working knowledge of PLM systems for design release and documentation.

Good understanding of GD&T, engineering standards, and manufacturing processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in 2-wheeler OEM or Tier-1 supplier environment.

Experience in CAE Analysis tools hyper mesh.

Understanding of CAE inputs, durability requirements, and validation testing.
