Marketing content strategy: develop and lead execution
•- Partner with industry marketing leaders, industry leaders, and geo marketers define campaign objectives and scope; lead the translation of business needs into innovative, high-impact content strategies
•Own the translation of business objectives into integrated marketing campaign plans; anticipate challenges and build contingency plans to keep campaigns on track
•Socialize campaign plans with industry and marketing leadership, securing stakeholder buy-in and managing expectations across senior stakeholders
•Design and lead compelling marketing campaigns and activations aligned to business growth plans, ensuring narrative consistency across all deliverables
•Guide the selection and use of digital marketing channels (web, social, email), ensuring content strategy is channel-appropriate and audience-relevant
•Lead the development of high-quality marketing and communications content—internal toolkits, newsletters, digital and mobile copy (Deloitte.com, intranet, social media) — and review/approve outputs from analysts for accuracy, brand voice, and consistency
•Provide strategic direction on Search Engine Optimization, leveraging tools and technologies to improve visibility and effectiveness
•Monitor trends in channels, formats, and competitor activity; translate insights into recommendations that keep content strategy current and differentiated
•Maintain a strong command of existing content assets and drive resourceful repurposing to improve turnaround time and consistency across teams
•Oversee the development of custom, brand-compliant presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring visual and narrative quality
Marketing analytics and impact measurement
•Own marketing effectiveness measurement and ROI processes; ensure rigor and consistency in how impact is tracked and reported
•Lead the collation of metrics and creation of campaign impact reports for leadership, ensuring reports are insight-driven, not just descriptive
•Drive a data-driven marketing mindset across the team; use campaign results to proactively recommend changes to future campaigns and strategy
•Develop KPIs and benchmarks to inform campaign strategy, drawing on past performance and industry benchmarks; guide analysts in applying these consistently
•Identify opportunities to select, configure, or optimize marketing tools and automation to improve efficiency and reporting quality
•Contribute to and help shape best practice discussions within the Global Marketing team, mentoring analysts on analytical rigor and storytelling with data
Project & stakeholder management
•Manage timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination for marketing initiatives, ensuring financial reporting adheres to controls
•Serve as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across industry/sector and marketing leadership; manage expectations and resolve conflicts proactively
•Identify and address complex challenges or campaign issues; drive process improvements to strengthen team ways of working
•Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and resources across campaigns
Team leadership
•Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts and junior team members on content strategy, analytics rigor, and best practices—without necessarily a formal reporting line responsibility
•Act as a senior point of escalation within the team for complex content, campaign, or stakeholder challenges, helping junior colleagues navigate ambiguity
•Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across content, analytics, and campaign teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment
•Own final review and approval of outputs — content, presentations, reports — for accuracy, quality, and brand compliance before they reach leadership or external audiences, serving as the quality gate for the team
•Model best practices and elevate team capability through knowledge-sharing, feedback on work product, and coaching in the moment (e.g., during campaign reviews or content critiques)
Service excellence
•Lead collaboration with Marketing & Communication stakeholders — digital channels, communications, internal knowledge services, and analytics teams — to define campaign goals, coordinate content dissemination, and measure success
•Ensure rigorous compliance with legal and DTTL brand standards across all marketing deliverables produced by the team
•Support the team's daily operations and build strong, trust-based relationships across all stakeholder groups
Network: build relationships & coordinate with collaborating teams
•Champion the sharing of best practices with the broader marketing community and industry/sector teams
•Build and strengthen relationships across the broader network—other Global Growth teams including Brand, Communications, Partnerships, Knowledge Services, other geo-marketers, and other support teams in Hyderabad and Global
