As an Active Directory AM on the Active Directory Services (ADS), you will be responsible for…

Administering and maintaining Active Directory (AD) services, including domain controllers, Group Policy objects, directory topology, replication, Global Catalog servers, security configuration, and schema changes.
Managing account lifecycle activities for user, service, generic, and vendor accounts through Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
Supporting and troubleshooting internal and external Domain Name System (DNS) services, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) architecture and scopes, Kerberos, Windows authentication, authorization, and directory-service standards.
Resolving AD incidents, service requests, break-fix issues, and recurring problems; creating and maintaining technical documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledge-base articles, and operational runbooks.
Developing and testing disaster recovery procedures for AD, DNS, MIM, and Network Policy Server (NPS).
Partnering with infrastructure teams, application owners, and vendors on infrastructure design, supported-version management, major-incident response, and continual service improvement; participating in the ADS on-call rotation outside normal working hours and providing guidance to junior team members.

The team

The Active Directory Services (ADS) team supports the enterprise identity and access foundation that enables secure, reliable access to Deloitte systems. The team manages Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Manager, DNS, and related authentication services while partnering with infrastructure and application teams to maintain resilient platforms. Team members collaborate across locations to resolve issues, strengthen operational processes, and support continuous service improvement.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST / 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST during UK daylight saving time

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
6-8 years of experience in an Active Directory administration role.
Experience administering Active Directory architecture and infrastructure, including Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), directory replication, restoration, Group Policy, security configuration, and schema changes.
Experience administering and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, Windows authentication, and single sign-on integrations.
Experience managing account lifecycle processes with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), including user, service, generic, and vendor accounts.
Experience resolving Active Directory incidents, service requests, break-fix issues, and recurring problems using documented incident-management processes.
Experience working within Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) incident, change, and problem management processes.

Preferred:

ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification.
Microsoft AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure certification.
Experience using Remote Server Administration Tools, Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC), Group Policy Management Console (GPMC), PowerShell, ServiceNow, Varonis, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), or SolarWinds.
Experience developing and testing disaster recovery procedures for Active Directory, DNS, MIM, and NPS.
Experience supervising and coaching junior Active Directory support staff.
