Senior Sales Specialist, Fusion – South India

Location: Bangalore

Position Overview

Fusion is one of Autodesk’s fastest-growing businesses, and we’re targeting a new class of high-potential manufacturing accounts across South India — companies that may not yet be major Autodesk customers but have significant upside for Fusion adoption. We’re hiring a Senior Sales Specialist, Fusion Territory – South India to break into these accounts, build demand, and close meaningful Fusion business. This is a full-cycle, entrepreneurial sales role.

You will be assigned target customers across South India selected based on their potential for Fusion adoption. Some may already be using Fusion in limited ways, while many will be completely new customers. In every case, you will own the entire process — from prospecting and discovery to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.

Success in this territory requires an understanding of South India’s diverse business environments, regional languages, and local business practices. You will build trusted relationships with customers and partners by adapting your communication and engagement approach to their language preferences, business context, and decision-making processes.

This role is about building Fusion’s presence across South India from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Break into large, high-potential target accounts across South India and ignite new Fusion conversations where Autodesk currently has limited presence

Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, scoping, solution alignment, negotiation, and close

Capture first wins in new customers and expand them into broader Fusion opportunities

Identify priority divisions, teams, or workflows inside large enterprises where Fusion can deliver immediate value

Conduct on-site meetings across the territory, build credibility, and earn trust with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams

Adapt customer engagement to regional language preferences and local business practices, using English and relevant regional languages to support discovery, relationship building, and commercial discussions

Lead value-driven dialogues about how Fusion’s cloud-native, AI-enabled platform empowers design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows

Collaborate with technical sales, local and regional partners, product specialists, and marketing to accelerate adoption and expansion

Maintain a high-velocity pipeline, accurate forecasting, and disciplined opportunity hygiene within Salesforce

Deploy modern sales tools such as Salesforce and Outreach, to optimize engagement and performance

Capture regional customer insights and document repeatable plays that help scale Fusion adoption across emerging accounts

How You Will Be Measured

New Fusion revenue generated within your assigned high-potential accounts across South India

Successful activation of net-new Fusion customers and expansion of existing ones

Pipeline creation, deal progression, and forecast accuracy

Minimum Qualifications

Proven track record in full-cycle software sales, especially in new-logo or territory expansion roles

Experience engaging customers in South India, with a demonstrated understanding of regional business practices, buying processes, and relationship building

Professional proficiency in English and the ability to conduct customer-facing business discussions in at least one relevant South Indian language, such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam. Proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage

Ability to build trust with customers and partners across diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds and adapt communication to different stakeholders

Ability to open doors, qualify opportunities, and convert cold accounts into an engaged pipeline

Strong discovery skills and value-selling experience with technical or manufacturing audiences

Confidence independently owning and managing deals end-to-end without reliance on an existing account owner

Ability to identify the right entry points inside complex organizations and land initial successes that expand

Willingness and ability to travel across South India for customer meetings, partner engagement, and business development

Passion for cloud, AI, digital transformation, and modern manufacturing technology

An agile mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive to scale a high-impact product in a competitive market
