Join Citi's independent Risk Reporting and Exposure Monitoring function and play a pivotal role in shaping how the firm understands, communicates, and manages its wholesale credit risk exposure. As a Senior Risk Reporting Analyst, you will lead the design and delivery of risk frameworks, regulatory submissions, and data-driven reporting that directly informs senior leadership decisions and protects the firm's financial standing. This is a high-impact position within Citi's second line of defence, sitting at the intersection of risk oversight, regulatory compliance, and strategic data management.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of wholesale credit risk management frameworks, ensuring consistent monitoring and mitigation of emerging risks across the portfolio.
Manage the end-to-end regulatory reporting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports in compliance with applicable standards, including FR Y-14.
Evaluate and validate credit risk models on an ongoing basis, identifying gaps and delivering recommendations that strengthen model integrity and performance.
Oversee the Corrective Action Plan management programme, tracking identified control deficiencies through to resolution and reporting progress to senior management and regulatory stakeholders.
Design and implement robust data models and automated reporting processes that enhance the accuracy, consistency, and usability of risk information across the organisation.
Establish and enforce data quality standards and controls to ensure that risk reporting output is reliable, auditable, and fit for senior and regulatory audiences.
Contribute to key risk governance committees and forums, facilitating structured discussions and building consensus on risk-related priorities and decisions.
Advise senior management on risk-related matters, serving as a trusted subject matter expert and proactively identifying opportunities to improve risk controls and operational effectiveness.

Required qualifications & skills

6 to 10 years of experience in risk management, regulatory reporting, or data management within the financial services industry.
Advanced proficiency in SQL (including query optimization), Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), Tableau, Power BI, and Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Hands-on capability in data science and analytics disciplines including machine learning, statistical analysis, propensity modelling, A/B testing, and feature engineering.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business intelligence outputs such as executive scorecards, KPI dashboards, and portfolio analytics that communicate complex risk information clearly to senior audiences.
Practical experience in data engineering and automation, including ETL pipeline development, query optimisation, data quality management, and scheduled job automation.
Familiarity with cloud and analytics platforms including Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, BigQuery), R Studio, IBM SPSS, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Visio.
Clear and confident communicator across verbal, written, and visual formats, with the ability to present complex risk findings to senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Beneficial skills & qualifications

Professional certification in a relevant discipline such as FRM, CFA, or CPA.
Working knowledge of market risk measures including sensitivities, Value at Risk, and stress testing methodologies.
