About the role:

Unit Supply Chain – Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control daily Purchase Receipts (PR) and Production Receipts of materials, ensuring timely and accurate system transactions.

Review, maintain, and control material receipt documentation and records until invoice receipt and closure.

Organize and ensure the timely movement of materials within the unit to support uninterrupted and efficient operations.

Drive logistics cost optimization and implement an efficient logistics model to achieve cost and service objectives.

Coordinate with Planning and Packing teams to ensure accurate accounting, reconciliation, and traceability of recycled bottles and packing materials.

Follow up with suppliers and transporters for timely order fulfillment, material deliveries, vehicle placement, and resolution of supply/logistics issues.

Prepare timely and accurate reports on material/resource availability , highlighting shortages, risks, and critical requirements.

Monitor and report resource expenditure, utilization, and cost performance against approved plans and budgets.

Effectively manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Physical Verification (PV) and audit activities, including inventory verification, variance analysis, RCA, documentation, and closure of audit observations.

Develop and implement contingency plans to manage fluctuations in demand, supply disruptions, and operational constraints.

Support the Manager in preparation and review of daily and monthly MIS , including supply chain, inventory, logistics, cost, and operational performance indicators.

Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Planning, Warehouse, Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain operations.

Ensure adherence to company SOPs, inventory controls, statutory requirements, and audit/compliance standards across unit supply chain activities.

Essential Qualifications:

MBA or any Equivalent to master’s degree in business administration or commerce or related field

Knowledge of Purchase, Materials Management and Warehousing practices good planning and Organizing Skills High Flexibility and Problem Solving

Experience / Skills Required:

5–7 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations

What are the “Must Haves” for this position?

Knowledge of Purchase, Materials Management, GRN and Warehousing practices, FG dispatches, Excise Regulatory & Transportation etc.

Able to handle PV/Audit monthly/quarterly/Annually

Must be able to manage LMU Executive/Staff and Contractual workmen.

Strong ERP exposure (SAP), Advanced Excel

Good planning and Organizing Skills
