About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data platforms, data warehouses, and modern analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Databricks, Python, SQL, and Analytics Engineering practices, with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development, semantic modeling, and cloud-based data platforms.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.

Build, optimize, and support enterprise data warehouse, data lake, and Lakehouse architectures.

Develop production-ready data engineering solutions using Python and SQL following software engineering best practices.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

Create and manage semantic data models using DBT, LookML, Cube, MetricFlow, or equivalent analytics engineering tools.

Design reusable data transformation frameworks and data models to improve scalability and maintainability.

Analyze complex business and data challenges and break them down into manageable technical solutions.

Optimize data processing workloads using partitioning, indexing, clustering, and performance tuning techniques.

Ensure high levels of data quality, governance, reliability, and platform stability.

Build curated datasets and analytical data products to support reporting and business intelligence initiatives.

Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to enterprise data platform strategy.

Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data engineering solutions.

Work closely with analytics and reporting teams to deliver business-ready datasets and meaningful insights.

Expertise You'll Bring:

6-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform Development.

Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Python, and SQL.

Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.

Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse architectures.

Hands-on experience with analytics engineering tools such as DBT, LookML, Cube, MetricFlow, or similar technologies.

Experience creating semantic models, business metrics layers, and reusable transformation frameworks.

Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and data modeling principles.

Proficiency in Python for data engineering, transformation, automation, and workflow orchestration.

Advanced SQL skills including complex query development, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

Strong knowledge of data quality, governance, metadata management, and best practices.

Experience supporting business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.
