Project Manager II – Oil & Gas Operations, Projects & Automation Solutions Job Summary We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Manager with extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Fuel Retail Automation, Industrial Automation, Project Management, and Business Operations. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale automation and infrastructure programs, manage P&L performance, drive operational excellence, and oversee nationwide project delivery for fuel retail, fleet management, terminal operations, and digital transformation initiatives. The role requires expertise in managing cross-functional teams, customer engagement, project execution, product lifecycle management, supply chain optimization, vendor management, and strategic business growth within the Oil & Gas sector. Key Responsibilities Business & P&L Management Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance for Oil & Gas business units. Own budget planning, financial forecasting, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives. Prepare business performance reports and strategic recommendations for executive leadership. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and business expansion. Project & Program Leadership Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale Oil & Gas automation and infrastructure projects. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Establish governance frameworks and project performance metrics. Ensure successful delivery while maintaining HSE and quality standards. Fuel Retail Automation & Digital Transformation Drive implementation of Forecourt Automation Systems, Fuel Management Systems, Payment Integrations, ATG Solutions, Fleet Management Platforms, and Digital Retail Solutions. Collaborate with technology, engineering, and operations teams to deploy automation solutions across fuel retail networks. Ensure seamless integration between site equipment, controllers, cloud platforms, and customer applications. Support innovation, testing, validation, and rollout of new technologies. Operations & Service Management Lead large geographically distributed field service and project delivery teams. Ensure service-level compliance, site readiness, commissioning, and post-implementation support. Monitor operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence programs. Supply Chain & Procurement Management Manage procurement strategies, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics operations. Develop supplier networks and negotiate strategic sourcing agreements. Optimize distribution channels and reduce supply chain costs. Ensure timely material availability for project execution. Product & Solution Management Define product strategy and roadmap aligned to market needs. Gather customer requirements and convert them into product specifications. Own product lifecycle management from concept through deployment. Support new product launches and commercialization initiatives. Stakeholder & Customer Management Build strong relationships with Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), channel partners, contractors, and enterprise customers. Participate in bid management, tender preparation, proposal evaluation, and contract negotiations. Act as a trusted advisor to customers for automation and operational transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Fuel Retail Automation, Industrial Automation, Infrastructure, or Energy sectors. Proven experience managing large-scale projects with P&L ownership. Strong understanding of fuel retail operations, forecourt systems, and field service management. Experience leading geographically distributed teams and multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated success in business transformation and operational excellence programs.
