And responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance pharmacy benefit processes and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that align with business requirements and industry standards. This role demands strong technical skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for innovation in healthcare technology. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Develop responsive front-end applications, back-end services, and microservices; design and consume APIs; integrate AI services and enterprise applications; implement database logic, authentication, and authorization; support deployments and production releases. Understand business and technical requirements across Benefits, Clinical, PBM, and related application areas. Assist in designing and developing basic application features under the guidance of senior engineers. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and organizational standards. Work closely with senior engineers to implement technical solutions and gain exposure to architectural concepts. Participate in code reviews to learn and apply quality, maintainability, and coding standard best practices. Support testing efforts by fixing assigned defects, validating functionality, and troubleshooting issues during QA and production cycles. Contribute to technical documentation by documenting code components, processes, and system configurations as needed. Follow security, regulatory, and organizational guidelines, including compliance with Government Business Division standards. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues to help maintain system stability and performance. Stay updated on software development fundamentals, tools, and frameworks, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to compliance requirements such as background checks, mandatory training, and strict data handling protocols when working on government‑related assignments. Develop responsive front-end applications and scalable back-end services, including microservices-based solutions. Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs, integrate AI services and enterprise applications, and implement database logic to support business requirements. Manage authentication and authorization mechanisms, and support application deployments, maintenance, and performance optimization across environments. QUALIFICATION Experience in building web applications Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs Knowledge of Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, and JavaScript Excellent debugging and optimization skills Foundational skills in software development, debugging, and basic issue resolution. Experience in developing automation solutions using tech stack to support business operations. Experience with SQL or other querying tools is preferred for troubleshooting and data validation. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Blueprint, or ALM is beneficial for tracking development and testing activities. EXPERIENCE 4-7 years of experience in software development, Database, APIs along with US Healthcare and PBM domain (Commercial/Medicaid/Medicare) preferred. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Programming Proficiency: Strong foundation in languages such as Java, C#, Python, UI/UX, SharePoint Dev or similar/power apps/power automate. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Understanding of development processes, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts. Version Control: Experience with tools like Git for code management. Testing & Debugging: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects effectively. Basic Cloud Concepts: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Knowledge in Healthcare and PBM
