The Program Advisory, Consulting & Execution (PACE) organization is Citi’s internal consulting and program execution team. Operating from Finance with a firmwide mandate, PACE serves as a strategic internal partner delivering management consulting, program advisory, and end-to-end execution support for Citi’s high-value initiatives and business transformation priorities. The organization partners closely with functional and business leadership to deliver significant, measurable business outcomes while retaining critical knowledge and reducing reliance on external consulting firms.

The PACE team is a global, interdisciplinary team comprised of seasoned professionals with deep financial services, program advisory, and management consulting expertise. With team members located in eight cities across five countries—Canada, Costa Rica, India, the United Kingdom, and the United States—PACE provides continuous global support, accelerated delivery, and rapid mobilization to solve the firm's most critical challenges.

Summary:

Leads the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex initiatives, from strategic definition and planning through to hands-on tactical execution and successful implementation.
Serves as a key partner to senior business and functional leaders, building cross-functional alignment and acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders up to the Managing Director level.
Manages high-visibility programs critical to firm-wide strategy, navigating varying levels of complexity to deliver measurable business value with executive-level sponsorship.
Drives transformational change by deploying advanced process improvement and operating model design methodologies, while also developing new approaches and building change capabilities across the organization.
Accountable for program success, measured by the tangible business value delivered, positive stakeholder feedback, and contributions to the firm's thought leadership.

In this role, you are expected to:

Deliver high-impact operating model and process transformation projects by identifying business needs, validating pain points, and developing the business case for change.
Establish and execute robust program governance aligned with enterprise standards, developing detailed project plans, backlogs, and user stories to guide execution.
Lead the scoping, design, and execution of target operating model and process transformation initiatives; partner with senior business, operations, and functional leadership to establish business cases, strategic roadmaps, and business requirements for complex programs.
Partner with business and Technology to oversee and guide technical delivery, aligning solutions to target operating models, business requirements, and operational priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive accountability and engagement by holding project teams responsible for deliverables and performance, while providing critical review and challenge to status reporting to highlight and mitigate risk.
Act as a strategic partner to senior business leaders and stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure alignment, articulate complex recommendations, and manage expectations.
Leverage a range of methodologies including Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma to devise innovative solutions, streamline processes, and design future-state operating models.
Manage, mentor, and coach team members to elicit their best performance, partnering with leadership to build skills and identify high-performing individuals.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability by reducing time-to-market, boosting quality, and capturing lessons learned to benefit the wider organization.
Proactively identify and manage program risks by simplifying processes, eliminating redundancies, and anticipating necessary changes to business systems and tools.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

A minimum of 14 years of experience managing complex, end-to-end programs and process transformation projects, with required experience in management consulting and within the financial services industry.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience advising and leading operating model and process transformation programs within financial services, owning the development of business requirements, analytical frameworks, and project delivery reporting up to senior management sponsorship
Demonstrated experience working with Technology teams to oversee delivery activities, support requirements implementation, helping achieve business objectives across delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall
Proven expertise in a range of methodologies including Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, and structured PM frameworks; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor program managers on high-risk, cross-functional initiatives, driving accountability and ensuring alignment with broader firm-wide strategy.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, MS Project, and the use of PowerPoint for compelling, data-driven storytelling to senior leadership.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and conduct in-depth analyses, develop business cases, and devise innovative, technology-integrated solutions.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex recommendations and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Functional knowledge in one or more financial services domains such as Consumer/Institutional Banking, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, or Operations.
Comfortable with ambiguity, brings a high sense of urgency to goals, and balances analytical and creative abilities to drive change.
