About the Team
PayU’s Finance Organisation oversees the financial health of the business across multiple entities, covering financial reporting, tax, treasury, FP&A, and financial operations. Within this broader organisation, the Accounts Payable & Finance team is a high-ownership function responsible for end-to-end AP operations, including domestic vendor payments, foreign payments, Inter-company transactions, employee claims, invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities. The team works closely with CPT - central procurement team, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Finance Controllers, employees, vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payments, strong process controls, and compliance across PayU entities. The team also supports internal, statutory, tax, and other audits, providing required schedules, documentation, and reports on time. It is a fast-paced environment where precision matters, deadlines are critical, and the team’s work directly supports efficient business operations and financial control.
About the Role
As Assistant Manager – Finance, you will manage and contribute to end-to-end AP operations for PayU entities, including processing, approvals, payments, reconciliations, ageing, and month/year-end activities. You will drive AP process automation through AI-enabled dashboards, automated exception handling, reporting, and payment tracking, reducing manual effort and improving process efficiency. Working with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and technology partners, you will strengthen controls, enhance visibility, and maintain audit-ready AP processes.
