Job Title: AWS Integration Engineer / Application Support Engineer
Primary Skills: AWS, Python, SQL
Tools & Technologies: AWS Console, VS Code, GitHub, Postman, SQL Clients, ServiceNow, WinSCP
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using AWS services and Python-based applications.
Build and enhance system integrations based on business and stakeholder requirements while ensuring adherence to architectural and security standards.
Manage and maintain production integrations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across environments.
Perform end-to-end testing, validation, and deployment activities across development, test, and production environments.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test evidence, deployment records, and operational runbooks.
Provide L3 production support by analyzing escalated incidents, identifying root causes, implementing fixes, and driving issue resolution within agreed SLAs.
Collaborate with L2 support teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot integration and application issues.
Execute configuration changes, job monitoring, and operational support activities to ensure seamless business operations.
Implement enhancements to existing integration solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor production workloads, perform health checks, and proactively address system performance and stability concerns.
Support release management activities, including deployment planning, validation, and post-production verification.
Manage ad hoc stakeholder requests related to integrations, data processing, system configurations, and operational support.
Desired Experience
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless integration architectures.
Strong programming skills in Python and database querying using SQL.
Experience with API testing and troubleshooting using Postman.
Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
Experience working in production support environments, including incident management and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and file transfer tools such as WinSCP.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
