Mainframe Lead

Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.

Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.

Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.

Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.

Support batch job execution, monitoring, and issue resolution.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Coordinate with business users, testing teams, and stakeholders.

Participate in application maintenance, enhancements, and support activities.

Prepare technical documentation and follow development standards.

Support application deployments and release activities.

Minimum Qualifications

5 to 9 years of experience in Mainframe application development.

Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.

Hands-on experience with VSAM and TSO/ISPF.

Experience in application development, maintenance, and support.

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with IMS DB/DC.

Knowledge of MQ Series (IBM MQ).

Hands-on experience with Endevor, Changeman, and File-AID.

Experience with Control-M and batch scheduling tools.

Production Support and Incident Management experience.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to Mainframe modernization projects.

Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing tools.
