Lead Engineer

Job requirements

Experience Range: With at least 4 years of experience in Java fullstack development, including hands-on expertise in microservices architecture and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance AEM components, templates, workflows, Sling Models, Servlets, and OSGi services to deliver scalable content management solutions.
Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
Integrate React.js applications and components with AEM and REST APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks to maintain high system reliability.
Support deployments, releases, testing, and application maintenance, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices.

Required Skills:

Expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend development
Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, Components, Templates, HTL/Sightly
Proficiency in Sling, OSGi, and JCR for AEM development
Strong skills in React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript for modern front-end development
Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive UI design
Experience integrating REST APIs with frontend and backend systems
Version control using Git
Build automation with Maven or npm/yarn

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Content & Experience Fragments in AEM
Knowledge of Dispatcher, CDN, and caching fundamentals
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Understanding of security best practices in web and microservices development

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
Certification in Java programming or Spring Framework (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, Spring Professional Certification)
Certification in Adobe Experience Manager (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer)
