As a Lead Engineer – Embedded SW Development (LPB2), you will be a technical cornerstone in the development and evolution of the MarkVIe control platform. Operating within a global, cross-functional environment, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of firmware for state-of-the-art power generation control systems. Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
•Technical Leadership : Translate high-level system requirements into robust firmware architectures and low-level design specifications.
•Full-Cycle Development: Lead the design, coding, testing, and debugging of mission-critical system software for the MarkVIe platform.
•Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources to meet stringent power generation requirements.
•Validation & Integration: Integrate new product designs and collaborate with firmware test teams to develop, perform, and oversee formal design verification and validation (V&V) plans.
•Quality Assurance: Lead high-quality technical reviews, including detailed design, source code, unit test frameworks, and requirement documentation.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a primary interface between hardware design, systems engineering, and product teams.
•Continuous Improvement: Champion automated unit and regression testing initiatives; foster a culture of continuous improvement in both product quality and development processes.
•Lifecycle Management: Manage software throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from project initiation and design to release and long-term maintenance.
•Assessment: Evaluate and integrate third-party and open-source software components while maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards.
