About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Forward Deployment Engineer (Connector Ecosystem) to design, build, and maintain scalable data connectors and integration pipelines that power marketing measurement, analytics, and client data onboarding solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python development, API integrations, ETL/ELT frameworks, cloud platforms, and connector lifecycle management. You will work closely with clients, product teams, data strategists, and engineering teams to deliver robust, production-grade integration solutions.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain reusable data connectors for client systems, ad platforms, CRM applications, POS systems, and third-party APIs.

Build scalable data ingestion pipelines and integration frameworks to support large-scale data onboarding initiatives.

Own the end-to-end connector lifecycle, including development, versioning, enhancement, deployment, support, and maintenance.

Develop integrations using REST APIs, OAuth authentication, API Keys, pagination techniques, and rate-limiting strategies.

Manage schema evolution, data mapping, backward compatibility, and data validation requirements across multiple systems.

Ensure production-grade reliability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices.

Collaborate with Data Strategists, Product Managers, Client Technical Teams, and stakeholders to onboard new client data sources.

Troubleshoot integration issues and provide scalable technical solutions for complex business requirements.

Improve platform scalability, operational efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Implement observability frameworks using monitoring, logging, and metrics platforms.

Follow software engineering best practices for security, deployment automation, documentation, testing, and code quality.

Participate in architectural discussions and recommend improvements to connector frameworks and integration platforms.

Support production environments and drive continuous improvements in platform stability and performance.

Expertise You'll Bring:

8-14 years of experience in Data Engineering, Integration Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Backend Development.

Strong hands-on expertise in Python development and data integration frameworks.

Extensive experience in REST API integrations, OAuth authentication, API Key management, pagination, and rate-limiting implementations.

Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-scale data connectors and integration solutions.

Strong expertise in ETL/ELT development, workflow orchestration, and data ingestion pipelines.

Advanced SQL skills for data validation, troubleshooting, transformation, and optimization.

Experience working with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or equivalent technologies.

Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems and connector lifecycle management practices.

Experience handling schema evolution, metadata management, data mapping, and backward compatibility requirements.

Expertise in implementing observability solutions using Datadog, ELK Stack, Grafana, or similar monitoring platforms.

Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.

Ability to work effectively with clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
