This position collaborates with business stakeholders, solution engineers, architects and Agile teams to deliver Guidewire configuration and integration solutions that support complex insurance initiatives. The role serves as a subject matter resource for the Guidewire platform, providing system level perspectives and implementing technical solutions aligned with business and architectural objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Optimizing Guidewire configuration, building reliable integrations using APIs and messaging frameworks

Improving development and deployment processes through CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Ensures successful technology delivery across lines of business and the enterprise

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Actively participates in Agile and SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, daily stand ups, system demos, and retrospectives, delivering committed sprint and PI objectives. No certification required

Requirements

Over 9 years of experience required in a similar role

Data Architecture & Governance Experience (PLUS)

Full English Fluency

2Hrs Overlap with US Time zone (Pacific Time) Flexibility

Technical Skills

Guidewire policy center 9.0.5 and 10 development and GOSU language Experience (MUST);

Policy center Specialization certificate PLUS

Cloud Policy Center (PLUS)

PolicyCenter Data model; Guidewire Rating Engine; PolicyCenter Product Model and PolicyCenter integration in GOSU and PCF

Web Service; Batch and Plugin; - Advanced (7+ Years)

Java (MUST); J2EE; Hibernate; Spring; Spring JPA; SpringBoot; DB2; SQL Server; Oracle; - Advanced (7+ Years)

Production experience, E2E, document gathering, process,

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence

Demonstrated problem solving skills and resolve complex technical issues

Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities.

In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns
