Job Summary

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in reporting and analytics who are passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, develop scalable reporting solutions, and deliver meaningful insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using enterprise BI tools.
Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and reporting layers to support self-service analytics.
Develop and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and data validation activities.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation and quality assurance processes.
Partner with Data Engineering and cross-functional teams to understand data structures, business rules, and reporting requirements.
Troubleshoot report, dataset, and data-related issues and drive timely resolution.
Document business requirements, KPI definitions, reporting logic, and technical specifications.
Contribute to reporting standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the BI ecosystem.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on business performance metrics and key operational indicators.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field.
Strong experience in Power BI including: - Data modeling
DAX calculations and measures
Power Query
Dashboard and report development
Performance optimization
Experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports.
Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.
Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting concepts, and business intelligence best practices.
Experience working with large datasets from multiple enterprise data sources.
Strong Excel skills including data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
Exposure to ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
Understanding of data governance, report lifecycle management, and reporting best practices.
Experience supporting operational, management, or executive-level reporting.
