Creative Content Lead, HackerRank Films

Bengaluru. In-office, every day. This is not remote.

HackerRank Films is our in-house studio in Indiranagar, Bangalore. We tell the story of how the economy is going to shape up with AI, and the role HackerRank will play in it, across three channels: HackerRank , Hackonomics , and our CEO's personal voice .

What you will do

You will write the narrative. Long-form well researched pieces.

X posts with a hook and major compelling points with a clear rationale.

Video scripts for Hackonomics that earn the first two seconds.

Founder posts that sound exactly like the founder, not like a brand. You will take a genuinely technical idea, agents, assessments, the economics of AI hiring, and make it land for both the engineer and the CEO reading it, without getting the tech wrong.

You will lead a small team: 1 to 2 writers and a pool of freelancers. You will set the bar for voice and taste.

Who you are

You already write well about tech. Dev tools, AI, engineering culture, doesn't matter which, you're already doing it.

You've got range. A 1,200-word essay, a 12-word post, and a 30-second script in the same week, and all three are good.

You have taste. Example: we hand you a routine product update, and you know to cut most of it and lead with the one detail a developer would actually stop scrolling for.

You use AI tools well and you're honest about it. Claude Code is your default, and you can tell us exactly where it helped and where you overruled it.

What you will not be doing

Not running paid media, SEO keyword farms, or marketing ops.

Not managing a 10-person content factory. This is a small, senior, high-craft team.

Not writing by committee. You own the voice.

Not working from home. We build together, in the room.
