Job Title: Corporate Actions ISO Specialist

Location: Vellore

Position :- Corporate Actions – ISO 15022 (MT564) & ISO 20022 (seev.031) Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Actions ISO Specialist with strong knowledge of Corporate Actions processing and ISO messaging standards, particularly ISO 15022 MT564 and ISO 20022 seev.031.

The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting complex Corporate Action events, ISO message interpretation, data mapping, validation, production support, and system enhancements. The role requires close collaboration with Operations, Technology, QA, Reference Data, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Act as an SME for Corporate Actions, ISO 15022 (MT564), and ISO 20022 (seev.031).

Analyse and interpret complex Corporate Action events and determine appropriate processing and messaging requirements.

Validate ISO message structures, tags, qualifiers, sequences, and data elements.

Support Corporate Action event types such as INTR, REDM, CONV, EXOF, BIDS, TEND, MRGR, CONS, DFLT, and other relevant events.

Define and validate data mappings between source systems, databases, and ISO messages.

Investigate production issues, data exceptions, and client queries and provide effective resolutions.

Support new client requirements, ISO enhancements, system changes, and UAT activities.

Perform root-cause analysis and recommend controls to improve quality and reduce recurring errors on the ISO messages.

Develop and maintain SOPs, methodology documents, and ISO reference materials.

Conduct training and provide guidance to analysts on Corporate Actions and ISO messaging.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

8+ years of experience in Corporate Actions.

Strong hands-on experience with ISO 15022 MT564 messages.

Good knowledge of ISO 20022 seev.031 Corporate Action Notification messages.

Strong understanding of Corporate Action event types and processing methodology.

Experience in ISO data mapping, validation, and message interpretation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience handling complex production issues and client queries regarding ISO messages.

SMPG updates to the ISO standards need to be monitored and incorporated into the structure accordingly

Preferred

Experience with MT566 and other Corporate Action ISO messages.

Knowledge of SWIFT standards and market practices.

SQL and database knowledge.

Experience with UAT, system enhancements, automation, Power BI, or data analytics.
